I had not seen Wyman since the early 80s when he candidly told us he was the largest auto parts dealer in Orangeburg. He purchased a piece of memorabilia from my career beginnings, the old rescue van from the Orangeburg Fire Department and I spent one Christmas driving the Aerial Ladder in the parade with Santa on the top and another year riding the tailboard as he road on top. He was always nervous that a child would try to climb onboard from the rear to get to Santa. We kept watch so he could work the crowd with waves and a smile. Great memories of a kind and gentle man. Mrs. Clara, I am so sad to hear of Mr. Wyman's passing... He was such a sweet & funny man. I absolutely enjoyed the times you guys came into our office. (he "just wanted a hamburger, didn't have to be a steak", I'll never forget)

My heart is truly broken. I have had the honor of taking care of Mr Wyman and Mrs Clara for the last 6 years. He always had a smile on his face and made the day a lot better. He will truly be missed.

Wyman was a pleasure to know and be with. I dearly loved going out to his and Clara's house and visiting. Always made me feel at home . My daughter still talks sbout the good time she had when we went to Louisiana to vist and how much she enjoyed wyman even tho he dearly loved to tease her.
