My most sincere condolences to you and your family.
I will never forget our hunting trips together, Noc Bill. My favorite trip was the lease that Uncle Bill brought me too around Clinton, LA. It was the perfect hunting weather- cold, clear with no wind right after a huge storm. We should have had deer stacked up like cordwood. We just couldn't figure out why we didn't even see anything until we found out the neighbors had run dogs through the lease and chased everything away for miles. I will never forget the look on Bill's face. We didn't even hunt on Sunday morning- we slept in, packed up and went home. But, we had some fun playing bouree and "lying to each other" around the fire that weekend.
You were an amazing outdoorsman and loved being out in the woods, marsh, or anywhere you could hunt. You always road me hard, but I know you wanted me to be a better man. You are in a better place- you will be missed.

Mr. Ritchie, like it or not, you became a beloved member of our family thanks to your son, Tim. I loved your honesty, sarcasm, and hugs...and of course, your love of dogs. We miss you, but have no doubt you are with our Heavenly Father and that we will see you again one day.
