William "Pete" Meyers, Jr., age 81 of Covington, LA died on Sunday, January 08, 2017, at his residence. Born, Tuesday, October 29, 1935 in Covington, LA to William Meyers and Elizabeth Mae Cox Meyers.
Survived by his Wife - Emogene Reames Meyers, Son - Scott William Meyers, Daughter - Deborah Meyers, Daughter-in-law - Cequila Meyers, Granddaughter - Raina Meyers, and Grandson - Kellen Meyers.
He was predeceased by his Father - William Meyers, Mother - Elizabeth Mae Cox Meyers, Sisters - Grace Jarrell, and Helen Jenkins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 13, 2017 at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 West 21st Avenue Covington, LA 70433. Visitation on Friday, January 13, 2017 from 9:00 AM to service time. Interment in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens at a later date.
He was a lifelong resident of Covington, LA, a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #3061 of Covington and was very active with the Krewe of Olympia.
