William Guarino's Obituary
William J. “Bill” Guarino, Jr. passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2008 at the age of 79.
Beloved husband of Marguerite “Rita” Burt Guarino. Devoted father of William R. “Bill” Guarino and Nancy C. Kincaid. Grandfather of William B. Guarino, Marshall T. Guarino, Hunter B. Kincaid and William Chase Kincaid. Brother of Robert A. Guarino and the late Milton S. Guarino. Father-in-law of Denise Guarino and Michael Kincaid. Son of the late Elenora and William Guarino.
Mr. Guarino was a native of New Orleans, a longtime resident of Braithwaite and a recent resident of Covington. He was a retired Lt. Colonel with the Louisiana Army National Guard, past president of the Washington Artillery Veterans Assoc. and former chairman of Ducks Unlimited St. Bernard Chapter. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the memorial services on Saturday, August 9, 2008 at 12:00 noon at the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints, 2638 W. 15th St. in River Forest Subdivision, Covington, LA with a gathering at church beginning at 10:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Mr. Guarino be made to the Robert H. Burns American Legion Post 16, 2031 Ronald Regan Hwy, Covington, LA 70433. E.J. Fielding Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
