Billy Galloway was a frequent visitor here in Covington to my mother, Thelma Galloway Vergez, who was his father's cousin. He would always just stop by to say hello while making his rounds in the Bell Telephone truck. We always enjoyed his sharing stories about the family with us. After my mother Thelma passed on Billy still would pay us a visit with his good cheer. We also appreciated visiting with him at the Galloway reunions. Our sincere condolences to all the family also for all of my Galloway cousins . We know that Billy will always be a happy memory.
