I am very sad to hear about Bill passing. What an awesome person he was. I got to know him while working with Eric. You could tell Bill and Eric shared a very close father son relationship. He always greeted me with a smile and he would say “well what do you say?” I enjoyed hearing his stories of what it was like to grow up on a dairy farm. How he was in Cuba serving in the military during the Bay of Pigs. And what it was like to run an oyster business. Bill had a great spirit of kindness and always willing to lend a helping hand without hesitation. He will be missed. My deepest condolences to the Boegel family.
I had the pleasure of taking care of Mr. Bill for the last 12 years. When he would come in he always had a smile on his face and cracking jokes. He will truly be missed, always made my day brighter.

Mr Bill was one of the greatest men I ever met and spent time. Bill taught me things that I still use to this very day. My carpentry skills are because of his teachings. Bill shared his time with me and allowed me to spend time with his family as well. He always made you feel welcomed as if you were one of his own. Mr. Bill always had a nice thing to say or a joke to laugh with him about no matter how corny it may have been. And every time I hear Hank Williams whether on the radio or in my garage while working, I think of Bill et al. and the many fun days at the barn. Memories that will never be forgotten.
Bill you will be missed but always will be remembered. Praying for you and yours.

I always enjoyed chatting with Bill about hunting or fishing, or just neighborhood goings on. He had a lot of enthusiasm for life, and a great sense of humor! Yvonne and I will miss him.
