Ms. Mamie, Jim, Tootie, Lil' Louie---My mom and I would like to express our sorrow at the loss of your husband/ dad. Little-by-little, our old neighborhood "ain't der no mo" as we lose the cornerstones like Mr. Walter. I always knew he was a military man, but I never remember referring to him by his title. Like my dad and so many others in their day, I know he wasn't home much, but he obviously made a big impression on his three fine sons.
Ms. Mamie, I still go to "the chapel" so I will be sure to put him in all of our prayers. Lovingly---Judy
