George, Kim, Della and family: As someone else said, "Spike is one of the GOOD GUYS". He had a rare and wonderful personality. Spike made you feel good about yourself, and wanted to be part of the cure, and not part of the problem. I will always appreciate him for this. His positive influence will live on, in you and your family,,,,,and in me to. Its a blessing that Spike's grandchildren got to be around him. I very much enjoyed my insightful talks with him the last few years at the meetings. I know he is very proud of you George, and the rest of his family.--- We've lost a good one, and we will miss him. ---- David & Gena Smith, your Tennessee Hillbilly friends always!
Della & Family: I am truly sorry to hear about Spike. He was a great leader and person to all who had the privilege to met him. I have not seen Spike in years but I have fond memories of him both as an athlete and person. As someone said, "he was one of the good guys". Thanks Spike for allowing me to have know you.
To the family we share in your loss. God Bless !
Dear Della and Family, I was saddened to learn of Spike's death, and please accept my heartfelt condolences on your loss. You both truly made the "perfect couple" in high school, and it was quite rewarding to see at our 40th Reunion three years ago that your loving relationship was "alive and well." May God (and all of your cherished memories) comfort you. Gail
George: We are very sorry to hear of your recent loss. Your father was a true gentleman and a friend We will all miss him. Our condolences to your family.
For there is life after death, a life with Christ that far exceeds our most extravagant expectations. Laura, your father has gone before us to be in the bosom of the Lord. You can just imagine God calling out “Welcome Spike, my good and faithful servant.”. Your Dad is waiting for the inevitable reunion with you and all your family so that all of you may jointly spend eternity with our Creator and His Son. You and your family will be in our prayers.
I am very sorry for your loss. May your beautiful memories keep you strong. In my thoughts and prayers...

George, Laura and Family,
It was your father that first got me interested in the laundry industry and he is also the one that introduced me to you.

Della and family. We just wanted to say again how much we miss being with you today at Spike's funeral. Thank you for spending some personal time with us Sunday. I am so glad that my dear friend of 55 years is no longer suffering, but I, like you, will miss his smiling face greatly. Please know that we are with you today in spirit and thankful for our Lord's mercy and grace during this difficult time.
