Wade Hampton Lowe's Obituary
Wade Hampton Lowe passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2008. He was born February 16, 1941 in Port Gibson, MS to the late Robert B. and Laverne McCool Lowe and has been a resident of Covington for the past 14 years.
The beloved husband of Catherine McDaniel Lowe, he is survived by his daughter, Stefany L. Middleton and her husband Jay; two grandsons, Mack and Lee Middleton; one brother, Robert B. Lowe of New Orleans and his sister, Anne L. Westrope of Huntsville, AL.
After graduating from the University of Southern Mississippi, Wade went to work for the oil rig manufacturer, Marathon-Letourneau. He retired from a management position there in 1986 after 23 years of service. Wade married, moved to Covington and worked in sales at Poole Lumber Company until his retirement in 2004.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to visit with the family at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington, LA 70433 on Sunday, December 21, 2008 from 2-4:00 PM and again at:
St. James Episcopal Church, 309 Jackson St., Port Gibson, MS 39150 from 11-1:00 PM.
Interment will follow services in Port Gibson on Monday at the Wintergreen Cemetery.
