I'll never forget the first time I met Hoss. He fit the definition of "A Gentleman in Every Sense of the Word." He exemplified the meaning of Southern Hospitality. He even taught a Yankee how to deep fry a turkey! So sorry to hear of your loss, but be comforted knowing he is now in a peaceful and restful place.

Meredith and family,I am so sorry for your loss. Hoss (I never knew his real name)was such a gentleman and has a special place in my heart because he was manager of Covington Country Club when my youngest son was married. Hoss was so kind and helpful to us during that happy, incredibly busy time. Just one small example of a life well-lived. I'm sure there are millions of other examples in the life of this fine man. Meredith and family...I was saddened to learn of Hosses passing this past weekend. The world is truly a dimmer place without the light that was Hoss Ramke. He is truly someone to be respected for the positive attitude he brought into this negative world. I was blessed to know him while he was here.To have known Hoss was a true blessing and my life is better for knowing him. I pray that you and your family find peace and comfort in this time of loss.
