The Willie children are all together again with Great Aunt Vernie's grand entrance thru heavens gates. I remember many of my younger days staying over, running thru the gardens & pasture, swimming in the pool & 'swimming' thru all those dolls. Always had lots of food at her house...LOL, parties, & always crafting or crocheting. She was so fun & funny & such a dear sweet person. So sorry to hear of Vernie's passing. My condolences to all her family. Grannie, as I knew her, was quite the lady and very endeared by everyone. At the beautiful age of over 100 years, she was still remarkably vibrant and social. As she was my son-in-law (Johnny's) grandmother, I was fortunate enough to have known and shared many occasions and visits with her. Her kind and loving spirit will be surely missed by her many friends and family members. I gave my granddaughter Karlie a tree to plant in her yard on Grannie's 100th birthday. We called it her Grannie Tree. I am sure as we watch it grow we will think of Grannie often.
