Troy Jackson's Obituary
Troy Jackson passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at the age of 81.
Beloved husband of the late Jerry Deane Prieto Jackson.
Father of James Kent Jackson and Janet Ruth Jackson. Son of the late Annie Lee Bruce Jackson and James Troy Jackson. Brother of Bruce Jackson and the late Bill Jackson. Grandfather of Amy Elizabeth Bone and Kyle Hunter Bone.
He was a U.S. Navy WW II veteran, was an educator in the St. Tammany School System for 41 years including 27 years as principal at E.E. Lyon Elementary School. Mr. Jackson was actively involved with Playmakers for almost 50 years.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services on Saturday, February 14, 2009 at 1:00 PM from the Chapel at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433 with visitation on Saturday beginning at 11:00 AM until service time.
Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations to Playmakers or Hospice of St. Tammany.
