Mr. Jackson was a wonderful man. He was my Principal at Lyon Elementary. He always took the extra time to get to know all of us. I know that he will be missed by everyone. God bless your family in this time of grief.

My sincere sympathy goes out to your family. Mr. Jackson was my teacher and my basket ball coach in junior high school those many years ago. He was so loved by the students and I have thought of him often over the years, always with a smile remembering his warmth.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I feel honored to have known Mr. Jackson as a teacher and as a couch. His smile could light up a room. He taught me so many things, including a few of lifes lessons. I am so blessed to have known Mr. Jackson. He was truly a wonderful educator and person. I have thought of him several times throughout the years. He will be greatly missed by this former student. God Bless.
Janet & family, Shaun, Andre' & I were so saddened to hear about your dad's passing. I've known him since I was in elementary school, and I can honestly say that he certainly made his mark in this world, and he made it a much better place while he was here. And Janet, he was EVERYWHERE. Our family was on vacation at Knott's Berry Farm in California one day when my boys were small, and I looked up, and who did I see, but your mom & dad. Hey, that was like finding Santa Claus in the flesh! Please know that our hearts and prayers are with you during this time of grief. He was truly a wonderful man.

I will never forget Troy, he was my first boss at Lyon.A very kind and funny person, always there for you. Never forget my first time I had a problem, I had to go into his "Special Office".I think everyone that knew Troy had been there also. He will be sadly missed. Thanks Troy for five wounderful years. It was my privilege to have Mr. Jackson as a teacher about 1958 or 1959 in my Junior High years and he was always one of my favorite teachers. I will always remember his wonderful sense of humor and great smile. St. Tammany Parish School system and all his many students were blessed to have him as a role model for so many years.
