Dr. Timothy P. Maher, age 69, of Mandeville, Louisiana, passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2024. He was born on February 24, 1955, in New Orleans, Louisiana. He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Lois Shelton Maher; Read Obituary
Sending my prayers and condolences for all of Dr. Maher’s family. He was truly one of the good ones. I worked along side Doc in several different facets throughout my healthcare career. He was one of those people, if you saw him, you immediately wanted to go up and talk to him and catch up. He was always so supportive and encouraging as I pursued my goal of becoming a CRNA. I’m so thankful I was able to work with him as an anesthesia provider before his retirement. He had a way of encouraging you to see your potential and making you feel like a part of something bigger. I will miss our talks about fishing and LSU football and his mischievous smile and sense of humor. He will be missed by many and I can honestly say I’m better for having known him!
Please accept our condolences for your loss. Timmy and I went to Sam Barthe together and I was as surprised as he was that we became neighbors.
We used to talk at the gym all the time.

Uncle Tim was always kind and welcoming. I remember him being in on helping us surprise Aunt Lois for Christmas and sitting down to visit on the deck. He always had such a way of wording things that you wanted to hear what he was saying. We will forever love and miss him.
