I worked and commuted with Tommy for many years at Shell. We enjoyed the company of each other. We shared many laughs trying to solve the problems at Shell. He was a joy to be around & one of nicest guys that I ever met.
Primo Tome’ was always a classy guy and very nice who would greet you with a smile. At our last family reunion, he brought his Dad with him from the Nursing Home in Beeville. I enjoyed spending a little time with him then

Tommy was my cousin. His dad was my dad’s nephew but they were more like brothers. We grew up in the St. Paul area picking cotton. Our parents spent time together either at our house or theirs so of course we developed a strong bond. As always as we grew older we all went our separate ways. The Gomez family has had several family reunions and he was able to attend the last couple reunions with his dad. Since then we reconnected and frequently texted or called one another. We joked about how our aches and pains were no longer relieved by Volcanico. On cold days we discussed how good a caldo and pan dulce with chocolate would taste. Those were memories of our childhood. I truly will miss him. Rest in Peace my dear primo. 🙏🙏
Thomas and I go.back to our junior high years at EM Smith Jr High in Sinton, Tx. We graduated from.Sinton High School in 1970. Thomas contacted me a few months ago wanting a class reunion. I had been approached before, but never took any action.on the projex,but when Thomas contacted me,for some.reason, I took the initiative, and started planning one. I feel badly that he will not be able to attend the class reunion. He was a good friend. Never got into any trouble in school, was very smart, and well liked by his classmates. Thomas, you will be missed. My deepest condolences to his wife and children.
