Stanley Irwin Goldberg passed away peacefully on April 27, 2026, at the age of 96. He was born in New York, New York, borough of Bronx, on April 12, 1930, to Edward and Belle Craner Goldberg. He is the stepson of Pearl Heneson Gol Read Obituary
It was a privilege and an honor to get to know Stan during the last few weeks of his life. I admired his intelligence and quick wit. And his deep affection for Patricia, and his children and grandchildren was clearly evident. Grace and peace to all who love and grieve him.
Our entire art class had such admiration for Stan, his drive to continue the painting he loved so much, his persistence, sense of humor, and the joy he had just being with his art family. Always willing to share an encouraging word, always challenging himself with complex works. A dear soul I had great affection and respect for. Having he and Pat in my life has been such a blessing. I know Stan met my Dad Larry in heaven and they are happily reuniting and discussing the last watercolor technique Stan was struggling to figure out. Will miss you dear Stan, but you will always be in my heart and my painting.
I’m only 76 yo and want to be just like Stan when I grow up! He was inspirational to us in our art class with Chryl Casso Corrizo, daughter of Larry Casso, who Stan took art classes from. He was an inspiration to us “youngsters “ in the class. And, of course, his beautiful & talented wife, Pat was always at his side. My condolences to Pat, and all of his family. He was an enigmatic man, an inspiration.
