I know Mr. Simon is with God for he was a truly "GOOD" man! I'll never forget all the great advice he use to give me as a young man especially concerning work ethics. He could work circles around 3 good men, and boy don't get in his way. HaHa. Or how mad he would get when he would catch Dennis and I throwing rocks or mud balls from the crawfish holes, up into the trees of his orchard to knock down some fruit to eat. I know he never minded us eating the fruit it was just the way we were getting it. I'll always appreciate how much respect our families had for one another as neighbors and as friends. My dearest family: How can you put into words the loss that the Clement family has gone through? The threads of sanity have truly been put to the test. When you step back and realize the kind of faith and love that it takes to undergo this kind of thing, it makes a person really wonder what holds them together. My love goes out to you grandmother, uncles, and friends. I can only hope that one day I can have a fraction of faith or a shimmer of strength that you have. I really regret not being able to have the time back that we lost with Simon and Gloria. I will do my best to instill in my boys the love you have put into me.
