My deepest condolences to Sidney Carruth's family. She was my late husband's (David Ward-Steinman) first cousin, and they loved each other dearly and frequently talked on the phone. I planted the beautiful hyacinths she sent for his funeral in my yard where they continue to live and bring memories of her. After his death, Sidney and I kept in touch by phone, and I admired and cared very much for this wonderful and brilliant 98-year-old woman! Whenever we talked, she updated me on all of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. I send my deepest condolences to all of them who have lost a very special person in their lives. I will miss Sidney too. I hope she, Julian, and David are reunited on the other side.
