Many great memories of a beautiful lady. One especially comes to mind...a fishing trip in the deep, dark bayou country where we were lost most of the time and beating eels off the fishing line. It got dark on us and all we could do was pray to see the lighthouse. After many hours we were finally safe. Another awesome memory was when Shirley’s mom made dressing with oysters. That was a first. Then once we celebrated Mardi Gras and Shirley had made costumes for all. The girls were little and so was our son. So many fun times with the 2 Joes, Shirley and me. She was ready to go anywhere outdoors, camping, fishing and cooking. She loved her family. Prayers and love to all. Carolyn Motes
