“Saul had the ability to view life and the events in life with a unique rational perspective, always followed with “Saul” humor…with a contagious laugh that you couldn’t help but laugh along. Saul was often labeled as antisocial. I remember Mom using “Saul” as an adjective. If I don’t want to attend a social event, I was pulling a “Saul”. The fact is Saul was simply unpretentious. Crowds were just not his thing. One on one with anyone in the room, and he was engaging. All together, not interested. Oddly, this may be one of Saul’s characteristics that I found interesting. Maybe Mom was right. I’m not sure if we will be gathering to remember Saul, so I wanted to share a few thoughts. Ron”
The family would like to offer special thanks Hospice Compasus and Fr. Frank Giroir of St. Anselm Catholic Church, Madisonville, LA.
A celebration of Saul’s life will be held at a later date.
