Saul Bersin touched deeply so many of us fortunate ones who knew him and loved him. He was genuine and good. He loved his family and friends very much. We loved him dearly. My mother and our family will miss Saul everyday.
I am lucky and grateful. For may hours in recent months I was able to sit with Saul and talk with him and listen to his stories from childhood, and early adulthood and many of his colorful life experiences. It was more of a celebration then sadness as I got to learn much about Saul as a person and who he was-from my own perspective now. Hed did'nt know this, but of the myriad gifts he bestowed upon us over many years, this was his best and my favorite-him sharing his stories with me. I will forever cherish our candid, honest and open conversations and the wisdom from this very smart and loving man. Thank you Saul.

Although it has been a long time since I have seen or spoken to Saul, he will always have a special place in my heart. We became best friends in the 5th grade and stayed as very close friends all the way through several years of college. I know he will be greatly missed by many friends and family. I do plan on meeting up with Saul somewhere in the great heaven above. God bless you Saul.

To April, and Bersin family,
I share in your loss, and must tell you that years ago, when I struggled with personal problems, Saul was not only supportive, but a true friend. He helped me through some very difficult times with His wisdom, and " Saul " humor. He use to tell me: " Keep thinghs in perspective"...Saul was a very intelligent man who I will always remember.

Dear Saul, I regret that I never got to tell you how proud I was that you were a member of our family. Smart, savy and with that wonderful dry sense of humor, I couldn't have asked for a better brother-in-law. You were kind, compassionate and generous to a fault with all God's creatures, human and animal alike. I believe you were the closest soul to St. Francis I have ever met. Rest in peace dearly beloved Saul.
