Sammy loved his job with the USDA and was always quick witted when describing his job to others. He loved spending quality time with his Cole man as well as time spent with friends at the pig barn. Sammy was loved by his community, and a multitude of people from other states. Sammy left his thumbprint on everyone he has ever encountered with his infectious humor and his own unique language. He will be dearly missed by his family, great friends, neighbors, community, and the livestock show barn “peeps”.
The family is appreciative of the efforts by the hospital staff, all the prayers, kind words, calls, texts, food, yard work, generator support, caring for the dogs and the magnificent flagpole!
Sammy will be laid to rest at Fussell cemetery with a Memorial service later on to celebrate his life; although the date for the Memorial Service has yet to be determined.
E. J. Fielding Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. The family invites you to share thoughts, fond memories, and condolences online at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home Guest Book at www.ejfieldingfh.com.
