I just heard of Sam's death. I've known Sam through working with him in the ag. industry. I can't believe he's gone. The obituary mentioned his quick wit and I will miss that the most. We shared great conversations on a myriad of topics from pigs to trips to Indiana to what the heck's the world coming to. I also worked with his Dad Ado many years ago at Port Allen. My condolences to his family and friends. The world lost a good one and is a little bit sadder now.

Sammy was the sincerest (male) friend a girl could ever have. Always a kind word, a laugh and putting others first. I’ve known him a very long time and over the years, no matter the time passed, he was the same beautiful person EVERY time. Thanks for checking on me over the years. I worked with Sam from time to time although we were stationed in different parts of the state. He will be greatly missed. His common sense and humor made him a blessing to be around. He was the best medicine for a down day. The last time I spoke to him he was very proud of his grandson joining the Marines. Prayers for everyone!

I always couldn’t wait for livestock shows to come around because I knew Sammy would be there! And when you walked into that barn Sammy was always there to make u smile and laugh!

I remember Mr Sam when me and Amy was always around Mr. Ado Rogers and his wife. He was always very kind and very thoughtful. He looked just like his dad and his dad was a amazing guy. We will be praying for your entire family. Sorry for your loss. God bless. John Sumrall Jr and Amy Sumrall.
