Dear Grandma, As I look at all of the wonderful pictures of you, one thing stands out in all of them-your smile! You were always smiling and the best was when you laughed because your laugh was so infectious! I was blessed to have spent some time with you just a few weeks ago. And even though you did not really know who I was anymore, you smiled so happily at me as if you knew me! I will never forget how good it made me feel to see that you did not lose your happy smile! So I will not say good bye, instead I will think of all the happy memories that make me laugh out loud! Dear Martha, I am so very sorry for your loss. I know that you were very close to your mother as I am to mine. She suffered so long but now she is with God. Was and always will be the perfect Grandma! Going back to when I could first remember she is there doing her thing making me happy .Going not as far back to the not so simple times she was still there doing her thing. Whether it was with her smile , silly laugh or that best damn fried chicken she always found a way to bring me back to those simple times that i can first remember :) And i am taking those with me :] Some of the happiest memories are with Grandma & Doc.

I was really sad when Billy told me Ruth had passed. While I only met her that one time we visited, she was a nice lady and I remember she smiled alot. She had a nice smile. I'm very sorry for your loss. I'm thinking about all of you and trying to take care of Billy too since he is far away from his family. Wishing you good memories and peace.
