Rufus Upton Lea, Jr. passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2008.
Beloved husband of the late Marianne Spetz Lea. Aged 79 years. Son of the late Rufus and Gladys Gilbert Lea, Sr.
A native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Covington, LA for the past 20 years.
Mr. Lea was an active member of Covington Lodge No. 188 F. & A. M., the United States Power Squadrons, the Southeast District Livestock Show committee, and a commissioner on the St. Tammany Parish Gravity Drainage District No. 6. He was also active with the St. Tammany Parish Hospital Cancer Support Groups.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services on Monday, August 4, 2008 at 1:00 PM from E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433. Visitation on Monday from 11:00 AM until service time.
Interment in Metairie Cemetery.
