Rosa Anne Landry Taylor's Obituary
Rosa Anne Landry Taylor, age 93, of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 1, 2026. She was born on July 8, 1932, in New Orleans, Louisiana.
She is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Atlas J. Landry and May Taaffe Landry; and siblings, James H. Senior, Marian Senior Pomes, Katherine Senior Edmiston, and Rita Landry Hebert; and a lifelong friend, Betty Westbrook.
Rose grew up in the lower 9th Ward of New Orleans in St. Maurice Parish. She worked at South Central Bell, later known as AT&T, for her entire career until her retirement as chief operator. An avid fan of the New Orleans Saints, she will be remembered for her passion for the Saints, the French Quarter, and most of all, her family.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the graveside memorial service at 10:00 AM on Monday, May 11, 2026, at St. Joseph Abbey Cemetery, 75376 River Road, St. Benedict, Louisiana, with interment to follow.
