Sweet Aunt Rose, so many great memories with you. You were always checking in on us kiddos, and then our kiddos. You loved deeply, with the sweetest heart. You made anyone feel seen, heard, and welcome… and I always loved that about you. You were strong and independent just like the rest of the ladies in our family. Your knowledge and love for the saints ran deep, and Caleb loved discussing the latest with you on the subject. I just know you’re in heaven reunited with all your siblings, and loved ones. I asked you to tell Maw maw I love her and miss her so much for me, and I believe you did. We will miss that contagious laugh, and sweet smile. Until we meet again, love you always! 🤍
Oh Aunt Rose,
We are going to miss you so much!! We have so many wonderful memories of you! Remembering all the fun family picnics at City Park with all our Aunts/Uncles and cousins when we were little!! The fun barbecue’s at your house in Gretna!! Thanksgiving’s & Christmas at Mom’s house after an amazing meal…we could always find you taking a little snooze on the living floor or sofa LOL. Your love for the New Orleans Saints was well known by anyone who knew you! Your knowledge of the players, staff and plays …always impressed me!!
The love you had for your nieces and nephews was felt by us ALL and evident in every conversation we had. Always asking how they were all doing!! You so enjoyed seeing pictures & videos of the littles and were always so proud of their accomplishments!! They surely LOVED their “Aunt Rose”!! We know you are happy again with all your family you have missed for so many years!! We have no doubt they we waiting with open arms for you. You will be missed by all of us until we all together again.
LOVE you SO ❤️ Marybeth & Jimmy
So many memories with you Rosie. Beginning in the early 50’s till present. We always went to the St Bernard drive in theatre. You took me to see my first Elvis movie. We talked a lot about the good old new year parties. All in the living room dancing to the peppermint twist. So much fun. Then our trip to California in your comet. What a trip and sites we experienced. As a teenager you paid for my train ticket to spend the summer with Aunt Kay and my cousins. You were a witness at my wedding. So many years of your selfless kindness and love. I know in my heart you met up with all the relatives and I know you loved Jesus and his arms reached out to you. Enjoy the beauty of heaven and put in a good word for our New Orleans Saints. Give everyone our love. Till we meet again.
Your niece Betty Rose

Aunt Rose loved deeply and gave that love so freely to all of us. She had a kindness about her that made people feel seen and cared for. Hopefully Aunt Rose is pulling a few strings up there to get us a Saints Super Bowl win, with a cigarette in one hand and placing a lucky bet in the other! We love you, Rosie!!
Aunt Rose. You were always a Rockstar in my eyes. Just like my daddy, u made sure to always remind me to be me. The good and the bad 😀 my daddy loved you so much and in return so did I. I wish we would have spend more time together in the end, because everytime we did, I loved every single minute of it. Go smoke it up with Ronnie. We Will miss u. 💔
One of my fondest memories are California roadtrips with Rose always leading the caravan! We made many stops & one of my favorites was Carlsbad Caverns & Disneyland & the Redwood tree forest, Lake Tahoe, & many more!! It was so much fun & she was always the tour guide. Always such a fun experience being with her, her sisters, & our dear Cali cousins. She also took me to my very first Saints game at Tulane Stadium as she was a season ticket holder since the beginning and attended the games into her early 80’s! She made me the Saints fan I am today!!! Many special memories. Love & will always miss you Rose 🌹

Aunt Rose…. 🌹 You will truly be missed. I will miss your laughter and bright smile. I am so thankful that I was able to spend more time with you in your later years. Even though we are sad that you are gone, we take comfort in knowing that you are reunited with your siblings and friends.♥️
When Jay was 2 years old, Aunt Rose came over and she was wearing a bright red shirt. When she walked in, Jay screamed “ELMO!” Aunt Rose thought that was the funniest thing. Even up until recently she would always ask me “What did Jay call me that time,” and when I would tell her, she would laugh all over again. She loved that memory and so do I.
