Robert T. Robinson, Sr.'s Obituary
Robert Thomas Robinson, Sr., passed away on Tuesday, December 7, 2010 following a lengthy battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease).
Beloved husband of 46 years to Frances Bowers Robinson; loving father of Robert Thomas Robinson, Jr. and Brenda R. Jenkins and her husband James A. Jenkins; grandfather to Robert “Robbie” Robinson, III, Cameron Jenkins, Devin Jenkins and Lindsey Jenkins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Catherine Vauthier Robinson; his father, William H. Robinson; a sister, Geraldine R. Krebs; and two brothers, William F. Robinson and Louis R. Robinson.
Age 67 years, a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of St. Tammany Parish for the past 31 years, he was the owner and operator for some 30 years of Dixie Stove Works in New Orleans, LA.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend funeral services on Saturday, December 11, 2010 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433. Visitation on Saturday will begin at 9:00 AM and continue until service time.
Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.
