Francis I'm very sorry to here of the passing of Bobby, he was a friend and mentor to me. I will alway's have fond memories of the gang at Dixie.
I am very sad to learn that Bobby has left us. I grew up knowing Bobby & his brother Louie during the 50's & 60's along with my brothers Louie & Jimmy. Along with being very good in sports, he was a wonderful person. I wish that I would have known of his sickness so that I could have visted and talked of the old days with him. We are praying for your family.
TO the Robinson family, My sympathy to you on the passing of your husband and father. Bobby and I attended St. Joseph Grammar School in New Orleans and also we were together at St. Aloysius if my memory is correct. I also think about those that were in grade school with me and wonder where they are today. I know that Bobby is a great place now with the Lord. I wished that our paths could have crossed before his passing. I will keep him and your family in my prayers.

Bobby and I were best of friends for most of our young lives. We both loved baseball and were together every day competing and playing together. We lost contact around age 16 but I never stopped thinking of him. Please accept my deep sorrow for your loss.
