I was so sad to hear this news. I only had the pleasure of meeting Pappa and Muddis one time when I was about 10 years old, but I asked Doug about him often and Doug always had a great story to tell about him. We should all be so lucky to live such a full and long life. We love you all. Dianne & Russell Haley & Heather Ashworth

These things are very hard to accept with your faith the Good Lord will give you stremgth, He did for me. Sincere condolences to you and your family. I am sending a donation to the Food Bank in your father's name.

I will always have the memory of going to bourbon Street with Pappa and Muddis, going down to celebrate Pappa's 32 anniversary of his 39 birthday and the great trip we had to the Worlds Fair. Tommy and I will have you all in our thoughts and prayers. Tommy Gilreath greatgrandfather son and Marie Parker
Bob, I am so sorry to hear of the death of your father. He was such a good man and I certainly enjoyed knowing him and "Muddas". I especially enjoyed the times I was at their house and they time they came to visit my Mom and Dad many years ago. I know he lived a long an happy life. I certainly know your sorrow.
Hope all is well with you and yours.
