Zella, I am so sorry to hear the loss of your mother. She will be greatly missed by all those who have known her in the past. May God be with you during these times.
I will always remember Mrs. Brown fondly as my fourth grade teacher. She not only taught me, but also my brothers. She was always so sweet, but kept order in her class. Mrs. Brown taught so much more than the 3 R's, such as respect and kindness.
My deepest sympathy to the family for their loss.
Zella Faye, Jeff and I and my parents, Pat and Percy Golson, send you our heartfelt condolences. Your mother was very special to us, not only through our church family, but as a teacher as well. She was one of the best teachers I have ever had. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.
Zella Faye--I still drive through Calhoun on occasion to look at the old places. Lots of changes. You mother was a very nice person to me and had a rewarding life. We all hope for as much.
Zella Faye, I saw your mother's obit in the paper this morning, and you and your family will be in my prayers. I have so many wonderful memories of years gone by in Calhoun, and I will always remember your mother as "the adult with the ever-present smile". She always acted so happy to see everyone.
Again, my heartfelt sympathy on your loss.
My Love and prayers go out to Zella and all her family.
Mrs. Brown was a wonderful Christian woman whom I feel blessed to have known. She touched my life.
