I met Rasha in between classes at SELU going to the Ra Shop. I would pop in and her and our friend Dre would chat with me and I would leave in a much better mood than I arrived. Shortly after, I started working there myself. We worked together there for years. The first time we really saw each other outside of work was for Dara Calmes, Rasha is her best friend in the universe. I went over there on Starry November Nights to help Dara with an art project and Rasha was there doing schoolwork. From that moment on, I knew she was someone I wanted to spend my time with. I also met the 4th in our girl gang, Cooley Foster, that night. The four of us have been through the unimaginable with each other. Rasha saw our souls in ways no one else did. My fiancé Jonathan also adored Rasha. He was just as quick as any of the girls to jump to her aid because we loved her that much. My mom loved Rasha, regularly telling me how she was so pleased that I know such loving, genuine people. Rasha has left an indelible mark of love on her community that has richocheted further than she even realized. She was a phenomenal radio DJ, she made beautiful presentations, she knew how to decorate a space where it always felt modern and comfortable to be in, her style was unmatched, she loved mythology and spooky stuff. We will miss you forever, love.
