Randall Raymond Loustalot's Obituary
Randall “Randy” Raymond Loustalot, 73, passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2024 after a long and valiant battle with cancer.
He is survived by his loving wife, Susan Taranto Loustalot and his son, Reece Raymond Loustalot. He is also survived by his sister Barbara Matherne (Jimmy) and brother Richard Loustalot (Ronnie), along with nieces, nephews, cousins, and wonderful lifelong friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Dorothy Mary Alcantara Loustalot and Clarence John (C. J.) Loustalot, Jr.
Randy was a lifelong resident of St. Tammany parish. He enjoyed many hobbies and pastimes throughout his life, including fishing, horse racing, sailing, motorcycles, motocross, autocross, Mazda Miatas, traveling and antique collecting. Whether hiking in the mountains, reeling in a speckled trout, or just watching the races on a Sunday morning, he was happiest when he was sharing those pursuits with his wife and son.
Randy had his first and only child when he was 51 years old and, if you asked him, he would tell you that being a dad was his greatest joy and finest achievement. He was also a dedicated employee, spending over 48 years with the same company, now Siemens Energy, where he forged many lasting friendships.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Randy may be made to NOLANETS (https://nolanets.org/support-research) to support ongoing neuroendocrine tumor research and education.
Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Randy’s life at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W 21st Avenue, Covington Louisiana on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at 4:00 PM with visitation on Wednesday beginning at 2:00 PM.
