Dear Claudia, Tammy, Claude, and Michael, I'm so sorry for your tremendous loss. My heart goes out to you. I always loved Oscar. He was a special person loved by all. I especially remember the biddy basketball days at Rebel Park and the All Star team. Oscar was a great person, husband, father and coach. The kids loved him and he loved them! He adored his wife and kids. He certainly will be missed by all his family and friends. Rest in peace Oscar!! Love you!
God Bless his family and console them. I attended Niicholls with him and had the pleasure of participating in sports in St. Bernard afterwards. Great guy and gifted athlete.
After Hurricane Katrina, Oscar and I relocated to Charenton, LA. He loved living the country life and hated going back to the big city with all its heavy traffic. He was loved by all he met here and they continue to ask about him, even after almost 3 years of his absence.
When Jenn and Laron moved next door to us, he always looked forward to their children coming to visit him. The babies always brightened his day and put a smile on his face.
Oscar was a kind, gentle-hearted man who loved life. He is and always will be in my heart and soul.
