Myra Picou Favre's Obituary
Myra Picou Favre age 81, of Franklinton passed away Wednesday evening, January 6, 2021. She was born on November 10, 1939 in Donaldsonville, Louisiana to Andrew Burney Picou Sr. and Mable Packard Picou.
She is survived by her 3 loving children Lisa Favre Dearman, Michele Favre Galloway and Steven Favre, 7 grandchildren Alyson Webre Ricketson ( Michael), Candace Dearman Driggers ( Bradley), Brandi Dearman, Ashley Webre ( Drew), Gabrielle Dearman ( Dyllan), and Bailey Adams, and 9 loving great grandchildren. She is also survived by a host of family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 47 years of marriage Leo Joseph Favre Jr., her daughter Karen Favre, her grandchild Kayla Dearman, her parents Andrew Burney Picou Sr. and Mable Picou Cass.
A native of Covington, resident of Franklinton for the past 4 years. Myra enjoyed her career as Medical Records Clerk at East Jefferson General Hospital and Lakeview Regional Medical Center for over 15 years. Myra enjoyed retired life spending her free time with her family, friends, and especially her grandchildren. She found time to spend with all of her family from singing, camping trips, baking banana and lemon meringue pies with her family. Myra loved talking to anyone and was always supportive of her family and friends.
Myra was a kind soul who always found the good in everyone, and she always helped anyone in need. As a mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, Myra always had a smile on her face that will be deeply missed by all!
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W 21st Ave, Covington, LA 70433 on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at 11:00 AM with visitation beginning at 9:30 AM. Interment will take place at a later time.
With COVID-19, restrictions social distancing and face mask are required to attend services.
