I remembered looking for Merrill on the Orleans ave. porch on Mardi Gras mornings. The embodiment of calm, he was always a kind face to see. Merrill, you will be missed. Rest in peace.
It was God's will for Mr. Lange to be a teacher. He was supportive, tough and nurturing. He taught me to believe in myself and to trust God's will. I can’t say enough about him and the impact he made on my life. Years after graduation when he came to my brother's funeral I was speechless and moved. Rest In Peace Sir.
Sylvia, so sorry to hear about your son. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. And may he find eternal rest in Gods kingdom.

Merrill my daughter Maya for her 2003 homecoming. He was always there for the Richardson family. He will be greatly missed.
