I was first blessed to be able to tell Mary’s story to help her get the vehicle she needed to get her freedom back. I was blessed a second time to highlight Mary pairing up with Willa through a program that partnered rescue dogs with inmates to give them both second chances as goodness. In between and after, I was mostly blessed to be able to call her a friend. A bright light is definitely gone from this earth, but we’ve all gained a wonderful guardian angel.
