Mary Dee Latter's Obituary
Mary Dee Latter lost her courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, December 5, 2009 at the age of 58.
Mary was the daughter of Sue and Tony Rose and the late Shepard M. Latter. She was survived by her children Laura Goliwas Kuhlke (Christopher), Andrew Alvin Goliwas, and Diana Gail Stanley; her beloved Thomas Torval Nash and sisters Patricia L. Barnett (Lester) and Katherine L. Buckman (Richard). Mary also leaves behind her precious grandchildren Ella Latter Kuhlke and Henry Shepard Kuhlke. Also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and a multitude of loving friends.
Her caring and magnetic personality endeared her to all who knew her.
A native of New Orleans, Mary has lived on the Northshore for the past 30 years. Mary was a founding member of the Northshore Jewish Congregation and was one of the original members of the DIVAS. Mary loved the Saints and a good party.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service at the Northshore Jewish Congregation, 1403 North Causeway Blvd., Mandeville, LA, on Tuesday, December 8th at 12:00 noon. Visitation at 11:00am.
Interment in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations to Northshore Jewish Congregation, American Cancer Society, or The Ozanam Inn.
