We were so sad to hear that our sweet neighbor Mary Lou had recently fallen ill and is no longer with us. She has been our neighbor for over 20 years. I remember what a surprise it was when we discovered we would be neighbors as we had worked together in the ‘90’s for several years at a law firm, Blue, Williams & Buckley.
Mary Lou was always a kind and positive person, and I admired her strength after the loss of her husband, Mickey. She also had a great sense of humor, which she was happy to share with neighbors during our lunch and dinner get togethers. I enjoyed her stories about the “good ole days” and how she greatly appreciated the abundance of love and family fun she experienced growing up. She always said “we didn’t have a lot of money, but we sure had a lot love and a lot of fun!” What more can one ask for? Truly the most important things one will remember most, and she did.
God bless you Mary Lou, we will miss you!
