I knew Peg through my membership with AAUW (Covington-Mandeville Branch). I always enjoyed our conversations. I remember when on one evening my husband and I met her and her husband in Covington during an "Art Evening" when all the galleries are open. She shared with us the sumptuous taste of the strawberries available at that time. It was a wonderful acknowledgement to what some would call, a simple thing. She inspired me with her appreciation of life and all that it could offer, at any age. She will be missed. Fondly, Marion Kennedy

I am very sorry for your loss, I worked with your father,"Mr. Charlie" in the 1940's in Freeport.He transferred me to Louisiana and I worked under him again at Bay St. Elaine. He was a very fine gentleman and very devoted to your Mother.

I have so many fond memories of spending time with my grandmother. I loved swimming and canoeing at Turtle Lake together, spending time at the pool and baking cookies on Tchefuncte Drive, and enjoying beautiful nature walks with Grandma while hearing about her many wonderful activities, experiences, and travels.
