Magda Reiher's Obituary
Magda Maté Reiher passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2015 in Covington, LA. She was born on August 28, 1927 in Kecskemét, Hungary to the late vitéz Péter Maté and Jolan Gara Maté.
Magda was married to her beloved husband, the late Max A. W. Reiher, for 50 years and together they had five children, Peter Benkovics (Scheryl), Thery Bertram (the late Rainer), Julika Reiher (Valerie Gullang), the late Michael Reiher, and André Reiher. She was the loving grandmother of Blaine Benkovics, Brandi Kracke (Tom), Caroline Phillips, Simon Bertram (Teresa), the late Billy Branford. She leaves behind 8 precious great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Liturgy of the Word on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington, LA 70433, at 2:00 PM with Visitation from 12:00 Noon until service time. Interment will follow the service at the Abita Springs City Cemetery.
