Janis Bodin
Dear Diane, David, Rusty, and Don (and Family), I want you all to know how much your mother meant to me. I have fond memories of her from as far back as our years in our wonderful Good Hope Presbyterian Church. I remember singing "Jesus Loves Me" as a young child and I remember when she led a group of us in an "I Am His" club when we were in high school. I remember her as Di's mom when I spent time in your home throughout high school and in college. She was also my 'boss' when I worked for a time in the library (when it was behind the bank). She was a friend of mine on a different level years later when we were together in Mandeville in the eighties. I valued her friendship. I will always be grateful to her for the extra love and support she gave me when I was ill. Did you know she drove me to the doctor's office once or twice a week for months. Your mom's gift to all of us was the ability to make each of us feel special. She listened, acknowledged, counseled, supported, and accepted. She was the special one. Love to you all, Janis
