I often think about Ms. Louise. We worked at Northlake together. I just found out that she passed away. While my heart is sadden I know she is in heaven gathering all the kids together singing and playing. I loved her dearly!!!! Beth Bowers Desmond

Louise was one of the first to welcome me to Tammany Hills! Her warmth and Southern graciousness was always evident. A candle of love has been lit in the hearts of all who knew her. She now is pain free and walking in glory with our Lord and Savior! Thanks be to God for the time He loaned her to us here on earth.
My thoughts and prayers go out to you and the entire family. Ms. Louise was a great woman and I'm glad I had the chance to get to know her.
Malcolm Your mom touched so many lives in so many different ways. Her servant heart and devotion to our Lord is a great legacy. So many children, as well as my own, loved her and her gentle spirit. We will miss her. Our love and prayers will be with you and your family in the days ahead.
Many many years ago, Louise Van Tuyl was the most wonderful baby and teen sitter we could have ever had. My siblings (all 8 of us) loved her dearly and looked forward to her coming over to stay with us when my parents went to a function or out of town for a week. She moved right in, treated us like her own children, and would stay up at night and chat with us, listening to us and would fix us hot chocolate or hot tea. She would help us with homework, run us to our functions, etc. I pray for each of you on this day.
