Louise Willie Chehardy's Obituary
Louise Willie Chehardy died Tuesday on September 29, 2009. A life resident of St. Tammany Parish, she was born October 13, 1916 in Folsom, LA to the late Kelton John and Amanda Carlisle Willie.
Louise was a nurse’s aide at Southeast LA Hospital, but more than that a true caregiver to her family and loved ones and will be deeply missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Michell Chehardy, three brothers and seven sisters.
She is survived by two sons, Jessie Michell and Robert Maurice Chehardy; five grandchildren: James Chehardy, Deborah Fletcher Camille, Joseph Chehardy, Kim Gambini and Pamela Schroeder; Nine great-grandchildren: Brandi, Julie, Katie, Amy, James Jr., Joseph Jr., Ryan, Liam and Luke; and nine great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 10:00AM and services will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA.
Interment will proceed at the Willie-Lee Cemetery in Folsom immediately following services.
