Dr. Louis J. Gallo passed away on February 7, 2010. He was born September 20, 1924 in New Orleans to the late Joseph and Marie Passafume Gallo and has been a resident of Covington since 1952. The beloved husband of the late Norma Read Obituary

Please accept my sympathies. Lou was an inspiration and friend while I practiced in Slidell from 1976-1993 and then while I returned to the LSU School of Dentistry from; 1993-2000. While I currently reside in Iowa I appreciate the opportunity to have know and worked with Lou, and will always remember his gracious ways. May God bless and look favorably on Lou and his survivors.

I want to express my sadness and sympathy over the loss of Dr. Gallo. My father John Bickers was his neighbor and friend at Christwood. I was so happy that my dad had another mentally acute man to socialize with in assisted living. They ate dinner together every night and they enjoyed each others company especially with both being doctors. It is sad they died about two weeks apart from each other, but I hope they are once more enjoying their friendship. Dr. Gallo was always so cheerful and friendly when I would see him. I know only too well now the pain of losing a dear and precious father. You are all in my prayers.

I was very sorry to here of DR Gallo passing .He was a great man,I took care of him in home health for a short time. May god be with your family.
