LeRoy Henry Weber's Obituary
LeRoy Henry Weber, age 85, of Folsom, Louisiana, passed away on Sunday, June 15, 2025. He was born on August 18, 1939, in Stockton, California.
He spent Father's Day with his loving family, then ascended to heaven to complete Father's Day with his heavenly Father.
He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Rose Brady Weber; daughter, Celia Weber Guillory; grandchildren, Stephanie Nicole Santos, Graham Scott Guillory, daughter-in-law Sydney R Johnson; and great-grandchildren, Jack D. Ferguson, and Benjamin B. Ferguson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, LeRoy Alfred Weber and Harriet Bosch Weber; son, Anthony Raymond Weber; son-in-law, Dr. John E. “Ted” Guillory; and siblings, Kathie Weber Smith, and Jennifer Ann Weber.
LeRoy enjoyed the outdoor life and mountains of California where he rode his motorcycle, camped and hunted with family and friends. He graduated from Stagg high school in 1958 where he was Captain of the football team and a member of the Naval ROTC. He then served in the US Army.
While stationed in New Orleans, he met and married Rose Brady. They relocated to Sacramento, California, where they were blessed with 2 children. The family returned to Louisiana in 1972. LeRoy enjoyed the sportsman's life of Louisiana, water skiing, fishing, crabbing, shrimping and hunting. He was well known as a master of the seafood boil!
Throughout their lives, LeRoy and Rose were enthusiastic dancers, enjoying all types of dancing, from Ball Room to Cajun and everything in between.
LeRoy worked for St. Bernard Parish Mosquito Abatement. His 28 years of service and diverse skills afforded him several job titles along his path to Assistant Director and blessed him with lasting friendships.
After retirement, he moved to Folsom. He enjoyed working on his land and helping neighbors and friends. He was the to go to man when something needed to be fixed or a problem solved. "Don't worry, LeRoy (Paw Paw) will fix it," were words spoken by many.
He was a Freemason and Shriner. He volunteered countless hours fundraising for the Shriners Children's Hospital.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mr. Weber may be made to the Shriners Children's Hospital at shrinerschildrens.org.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation beginning at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, June 18, 2025. Visitation will be followed by a memorial service at 2:00 PM at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 West 21st Avenue, Covington, Louisiana, with
