I was in the Fielding Home page because my mother just died yesterday and I was sad to see that Dr. Leo Labourdette have died. Your family does not know me but I wanted to tell you that my deceased husband was under Dr Labourdette care for many years. My deceased husband had MS for many years. He was one of a kind. They do not make Drs. like him anymore. He was so dedicated in his field and so compassionate to his patients. He was not only a Docter to our family but I considered him as a friend. It is difficult to tell how deeply I feel about Dr.Leo Labourdette death. We spent many pleasant hours together and he was a great companion, teacher with an impressive medical knowledge, charming personality and graet sense of humor. He will be missed.

Hello,I too worked with Dr. Lab in the med.clinic. He was always attentive to clients needs as well as staff. He had a wonderful smile that accomodated his great sense of humor! My husband and I would see and talk to him at the grocery store since he left Souteast Hospital. I will remember him wtih gentleness.

I worked with Dr. Labourdette at SELH for several years and was so sorry to hear of his passing. He had a great sense of humor and took great delight in his job, his family and life.When my son was in middle school and had an insect collection due, Dr. Labourdette brought back a bug almost every day when he went out to lunch and sent it to add to the collection. He was very upset when my son only made a C on the project. He said they deserved much better! He will be missed.
