Lenda and I went to college together, and were best friends throughout our college years and early careers. Like many friendships that long ago, we eventually drifted apart. But Lenda made such an impact on my early life....she was so smart, so self assured. I wanted to be just like her. I only just found her obituary this month when I was thinking about and wondering about and did a google search; I was so sad. She will always be for me a shining example of a woman of substance, to be much admired.
