Lester,
I am very sorry for your loss. She was a great lady.
Dear Les, We are very sorry to hear of your loss. Genny was very dear to my mothers heart. My mom and Genny went way back. Somehow I think they are both getting caught up on things in Heaven. They were both angels with love for others that always overflowed. May God Bless you at this difficult time both now and in the future. We will keep you and your family in our prayers. Sincerely with our family`s love,
Kevin L. Caldwell

Dear Les & Family, What a privledge to have known such a lady as Genny. She possessed an enormous heart as she continually wanted to do for others. She certainly blessed our family on many occasions. She hosted our Silver Wedding anniversary and opened her home on Lake Forest to all of our family & friends. What a night to remember. Then, a few years later, she opened her new home in Chateau Estates for Paulette's 50th birthday party. When it came time for parties - she was always willing & giving!! She was so excited when our daughter, Lena, was to marry and wanted to be part of all the festivities. A few years later with the birth of our grandson, Jack, she shared in all of our joy. In short, she was a real part of our family and we loved her for all that she was and all that she did.
As Danny visited her in recent months, he would leave saddened by the pain she was experiencing. However, today we praise God in knowing she is now enjoying all of the blessings of heaven - painfree!! What a wonderful assurance that is and provides us with such comfort. May this thought bring comfort to you as well. We will certainly always remember this very special lady!! God Bless You & know you can call us anytime you need to!! Sincerely, Danny & Paulette
Dear Les & Family, We share in your sadness today in the passing of Genny, one of the most inspirational women I knew. In recent years, after your move across the lake, I became even more aware of all of her talents. Each time she visited the nursing home it was for the reason of spreading joy & creating a cheerful environment for the residents. It was a pleasure to house Elsie there during the last months of her life and her residence there birthed a wonderful relationship between Genny & Pontchartrain Guest House. The residents, nurses, and aides appreciated all that she did. She will be sorely missed not only for her creative artistry, but for her kind words and loving gestures she conveyed to all who knew her. Les, you are in our prayers. Sincerely, The Goux Family & Pontchartrain Guest House
You are in our thoughts and prayers.
CON't. .
Over the past few years our work schedules & lack of enough time in a day prevented us from visiting as we would have liked. But one thing is for sure, ya'll have always been present in our hearts & prayers. Although we are immensely saddened by Miss Genny's passing - as Christians we must rejoice that she is now completely void of the horrible pain her body has suffered. On July 1st, the Lord welcomed home the "Hostess with the Mostest!!" We can all look forward to her planning our "homecoming" party one day . . .
Mr Les, you were the BEST for her, she loved you sooo much. Thanks for caring for her so diligently the past few years.
We love you, "Mother Dear," very much and will keep your memory alive in our hearts forever!!!
All Our Love Always, Russell, Gaylette, & Gracelyne Faith
Dearest Les & Family, Words do not come easy at such sorrowful times - but they easily flow when we think back to ALL of the beautiful memories we shared. Ya'll became a second family to us when we were just teenagers and we would visit the Heritage House every Friday night on our date. The friendship which began over a beautiful gold giftbox blossomed into a lifelong bond. You blessed us over and over again with your unending generosity and love!!
We loved assisting you with the many parties you had at the house. Miss Genny taught me all I needed to know about being the perfect hostess. As we prepared for our wedding day, ya'll were right in the middle of everything, making sure it would be great. The bridal tea hosted at your home was an unforgettable occasion and made us feel so special.
Genny always treated our babies (Benjamin, Chelsey Lyne, & Gracelyne Faith), all Yorkshire Terriers, like the children we believed they were to us. She never missed a birthday party for them, until health problems prevented it. You will never know how much that meant to us.
To Be Continued. .
Dear Les and the entire Calvin family, Our thoughts are with you and your family at this time. It is difficult to hear this news from my mom, but it is also a time to celebrate such a great and wonderful person. Genny has been such an inspiration to me in my life. She had such a wonderful wit and the power or her independence and assertiveness helped me grow up to be a good wife and mother. She was a great example of being a working mom and in a way was a guiding factor for me choosing nursing as a profession. We have very special memories of you both being a part of our special occasions, holidays, parties, our wedding and a vacation when I was 18 that I will never forget. My father, the late Claude C Stoltz Jr., stated that you all were some of his best friends. A friendship that grew to be a very special bond. Thank you Genny for a spark of special magic in my life; you will always be a part of my heart and the heart of my children.
