I met Kathy in January 1994 when i moved to Austin to be inhouse counsel for JLM Financial Corporation. She later told me that she didn't talk to me for the first week because she didn't think I would stay. It was a great place to work . Its the only place i've ever worked where I felt truly comfortable. Kathy was one of the people that made that so. She was a great listener, non judgmental, and a great mother to her children, Victor and Vincent. She was also the best collector and skip tracer I have ever known. She moved to her home in Amite, LA a few years ago so we didn't see each other often. But we could talk for hours on the phone . We had plans to travel some once covid subsided . This is the last photo we took when we met for the weekend in Baton Rouge about a year ago. I was happy then, tonight, not so much. I am thankful that over the years ive been fortunate to meet some incredibly nice people that i got to call friends —-Kathy was one of them. Rest in peace, and smile upon us all, Kathy.
